David Allen likes to support the local community and as such we felt very privileged to be asked by Richard Rose Academy to become a Partner in Business to four of their Academy students.Julie Osbor
n and I were excited to attend the mentor orientation and induction day just before Christmas and I must say it was fantastic. Over the next 18 months Julie and I, together with Michael Peile and Jill Hetherington will be mentoring one sixth form student each, on a one-to-one basis. We will discuss business etiquette and life skills and will support them through their coursework and expose them to a variety of jobs and career possibilities, helping to raise their aspirations.

We are looking forward to meeting our student mentees today where we will undertake some icebreaker activities and get to know them a little bit better.
