A Day to Remember

The 16 October was a very important day for one of our Partners at David Allen. Alison Cartner, who is more used to specialising in Business Development, was specialising in something completely different as this was the day she would marry her fiancé Kevin Welton.

The wedding ceremony took place at Irthington church where the sun shone down on the happy couple. Family and friends saw the couple exchange their vows before heading off to The Crown Inn at Wetheral.

Pre-dinner drinks were served while photographs were taken in the gardens. No one escaped the photographers lens from the array of beautiful bridesmaids to a great group shot taken by the photographer from the balcony of someone’s bedroom.

Everyone enjoyed a wonderful meal and by the time the evening guests arrived, we were all ready to party.

It was a fabulous day and the bride and groom were there to the very end, celebrating their very special day.

New Sponsorship Deal Inspires Team to Victory

The 2010/2011 season kicked off to a great start for local team Dalston FC, with the sponsorship of a brand new kit by David Allen Accountancy.

The new kit is a well deserved reward for a team that shows great dedication and commitment both on and off the field; attending regular training sessions and supporting various fundraising events in the local community.

As part of the Carlisle Sunday League 2, Dalston FC’s first outing in the new strip saw them take on their top of the table rivals... the Bush from Kirkbride. The game saw high tension and created an air of excitement; the new kit seemed to give them a new lease of life and the hard work from pre-season finally paid off when Dalston FC ran out 11-2 winners; their best results for years.

Hopefully, the team will continue their good start to the season and will be the one to look out for next year on the leader board.
